Advice..

Hopefully, for the next batch of students who will also be enjoying Field Trip and Seminars, don’t take everything for granted. Chances and opportunities always come and go but we will all never know which chance it best to let go or best to hold on. So, in the mere future as they are to go along and take a voyage for the tour, always travel light and crave for learning. As what Steve Jobs stressed out, “Stay hungry. Stay Foolish”.

Recommendations for the improvement if FTS

Personally, I really had a hard time during the whole duration of the educational tour. It is really indeed an Educational Tour and it let us with no play although we were already assigned to go to a certain place in which we could hang out. In a mere say, we got ourselves beaten with the flow of each company visits and it fills our mind immediately. I pretty well know that what all of were doing is just maximizing the time in which we are all having since all of our activities is running and could not be left waiting. It seems like we were always in a hurry in catching up our plans.

If I hear it right, rumors are saying that the next Field Trip and Seminar would be outside the country. It is indeed a good idea of having it outside the country. There are a lot more better IT industry there that could help and aid the students better. But, what I am after ring to is the duration of time the students will be having. It would be a lot more good if and if (for suggestion purposes) that there would be more in time in everything so to avoid delays and stressed feeling so as to avoid the running and running process. I believe that through this and by this, it would be more effective and efficient to all students. With this, the students could rest well and be energized for the succeeding activities thus saying that the student can send his or her mind set first before indulging oneself for another.

Day 5-FTS

Day 5
Company Visit/s:
                Metropolitan Manila Development Authority

Today, I went to…
From the very first day of the trip, we had never escaped ourselves to heavy flow of public utility vehicles. As we travel each road, we stop, noticed caution and we go. I was once asked of how was all of these things happen and on what kind arrangement does it follow. Red, green and yellow. These are all colors that signifies Metropolitan Manila Development Authority or popularly known as MMDA.
When I’ve got to hear news that could either be in television or radio broadcast, what I only hear about MMDA is complains and flaws. There are several questions of how was the kind of their management is that the flow of traffic is still unmanageable and the like. Before I was able to visit MMDA, I really don’t have the idea of how does it works. But now, I can now able to share something that somehow even to worst of MMDA, it is still an achievement of having that kind of technology and ways of helping to manage and control the heavy flow of traffic.

What I learned…
I’m so excited to write about this segment. The things that I learned were not that magnificent (I guess) for others but for me it is really it. We all know that in every road aside from road signs, we all have what we call as traffic lights indicated by the colors red, green and yellow. These are the least that I know added by the pedestrian lane J. Now, it is only during the visit that I know that it has a controller that dictates whose going red, yellow or green in different locations. Aside that it serves as an indicator of how long will be the duration of that certain color, its changes also depends on the number of vehicles.
With regards to the detection of the number of vehicles, there is what we call as detector underground. It is located in the near intersection or in the stop line which is 11.5 m before the stop line. Each detector has CPU’s like that of a computer and is connected to the controller which implements every data that it receives. It uses the programs formula transformation and assembler.
Another thing, each intersection is connected to the server so to control the flow of data and lastly the server decides to change the duration of the time. It uses multiplexer as a communication line between intersection and servers.

With regards to their Communications and Command Center they have a 24/7 communication service that caters emergency responses such as ordinances, complaints and comments and suggestions. Aside from that, MMDA also has Road Safety Surveillance System which includes 50 units of CCTV camera in Metro Manila. Inside the CCTV is an IP camera which is wireless, has CP antenna to reach the data of IP camera. It is designated to each unit and they also make use of fiber optics. Through this, it captures vehicular accident anytime anywhere.

What I liked…
Personally, I like all the strategies that they had been introducing to us, the tweet deck which is for comments and suggestions, for the CCTV camera good surveillance, for the detector the server and the intersection which all helps for the good flow of vehicles in the highway. To sum it all, they indeed have a good strategic planning. That is why I keep on asking myself of why it still has a not so good effect to the real scenario. Well of course, I just saw the positive side of the story. I just don’t know if what the other side might tell me.

 What I didn’t like…
Stated a while ago, we only have seen the bright and working side of the company that is why I can’t really site any form of negativity other than hearing the word “expensive” by one of our speaker in the said company. It happened when once a member of our group suggested of using this kind of server (I guess), then he exclaimed it to be something that the company or the government can’t afford. I know it somehow that that suggestion of my co-team could really help in receiving data from the intersection it’s just that its too costly. For me it’s a thumb down since they can’t provide of what is best for their clients.

Day 4-FTS

Day 4
Company Visit/s:
Exist Global
Today, I went to…
“It feels like we are outside the country”. This was our first impression the moment we arrive at Ortigas to visit Exist Global. Why? It is because we were surrounded by a so beautiful and big building that Davao doesn’t have. Its elevation and exquisiteness captures us. It makes me wish to let Davao have this kind of industry.
Now going back to Exist Global, it is not my first time to hear about the company nor its specifications since one of their personnel had already visited our institution (USeP) for the last years Icean Congress. From there, we were able to know its basics specifically their Exist Code Camp. From this company tour, I had learned personally that this group has something that has already gone wild to the IT industry. It is only from this company that we feel that we too have our own room in this field. Inspired by our speakers and sharers, they let us know some tips and facts about what we are engaging to and that they let us feel that we can however stain such a thing if we would just let ourselves too. Just don’t stop on believing and pursue everything. Of course, on the other side of the story, which is also one of the most important is my personal learning’s and knowledge as we ended up our educational tour in this company.
What I learned…
Let start it off in software development. Exist Global focuses on java development on interactive web and mobile solutions. Using the java PL, they are able to produce products and services such as iPhone Application, games, websites and usually the build software. For me, as  a personal testimony I find java’s environment more friendly than any other programming languages. It can be used straight forward and is trouble free since it is already object oriented. From what this company had been producing compared to others, I had barely observed that they differ not just only in products but as well as to the kind of implementation that they had been practicing.
As our speaker continues, she answered one of the questions of our team that they uses half mac and half linux machine which is very far different to what a normal student or people used. I personally used Windows 2007 (and it is just a crack!). I just do love it that they market globally meaning that they too had been competitive to a foreigner which is something that could be proud off. But although they do this, they make sure that they only focused on a certain region. Aside from that the company also offers open sourcing and google summer of code.
By just having a short discussion, our lecturer let us know the segmentation of java Industry and it includes mobile, web, desktop and others. During our second year days, we were already taught about the java PL. In out programming III, we applied it in web through the java server pages while others had it in mobile. AS I reminisce all of this I did see the connection of the things that we are studying. Indeed it is never a trash! I appreciated it more when she site some difficult positions to fill according to networkworld.com as of July 2010. These positions include Java/J2EE, security, software developer, database administration and others. At least I know that we are heading to something. But the question is, do we claim these positions?

What I liked…

Java. It is because of this programming language that I earned hope after all of these years for all of the things that we are doing. Candidly, I like java a lot and I’m well pleased to know more about it. I just so like it the moment I knew that one of the most marvelous company that exist today is using this language competitively.

 What I didn’t like…

Oh , at first I was really excited to have a tour of the entire building. It’s just that they had not let us had a tour and I honestly don’t understand why. From among of all the companies that we had, it is only during their time that we don’t have a tour. It got most of us disappointed. However, it we were able to handle our emotions since we have nothing to do about it. But anyway, its definitely good and satisfy our awareness.

Day 3- FTS

Day 3
Company Visit/s:
Philippines Long Distance Telecommunication and Telecom Training Institute
Today, I went to …
From a very heavy traffic, we arrived at a very heavy company, the Philippines Long Distance Telecommunication. Travelling to Mandaluyong was really not smooth since we were captive by a heavy flow of vehicles which includes our bus. But I can say that it was all worth it! I swear since I’d loved our stay in this company. Aside from the learning it brought me, it made me realize some sort of serious imagination that preferably talks more about the future. Also, just a sneak peek of our stay here it also made us feel that sooner or later when we strive hard and labor long, we could be that someone who will also be sitting on that same area where we imagine where we could be. I so liked it and I will never forget the feeling as well as the dream.

What I learned?
PLDT had already made Filipino communication centralized since 1959. Again they have different services offered such as banking solution which optimizes a network diagram. Well, as the very start of the orientation and of the tour, I can still connect it to our current subjects and it interests me so much. Aside from that they also make use of their manufacturing solutions so to transform voice mail to electronic mail. Their other fast track includes a report on account, and a reliable device used person tracker. During the discussion one of the students asks about their network monitoring and it is said that they have it in 24/7 basis.
As we go through the orientation we had a short lecture more specifically in Networking, the OSI model and this is in the person of Mr. Edmund Mambojo. He reminds me of one faculty in USeP. Aside from the lectures he introduced to us the innovation of PLDT through the years. First, it follows the basics of telecommunication until reaching the Data Communication and PLDT Fixed Business today. Although they had planned it in the future but, Mr. Mambojo instilled in us that they too had somehow become the next generation network.
What I liked?
I liked it most when we had a tour for some part of the building. They let us enter their wide board room and from behind we saw their core programmer I guess that is also from the maintenance team. I so like the feeling of sitting on a couch thinking that in the mere future I could be that real person on that certain position.
What I didn’t like?
                Nothing.
Today, I went to..
After our four hour tour in PLDT we run the highway until reaching the city of Valenzuela for a company visit to Telecom Training Institute. They had a wide area and are capable of producing and maintaining the kind of products and services that they had. It is very obvious that maybe most of the workers there are boys since the area is not so “office”.

What I learned…
The company has a master station that offers for over seven hundred plus of users. They also have an Ultra High Frequency or UHF which can carry up to 30,000 km/s. Another one is Super High Frequency or SHF which can also carry up to 1,000,000 km/s. I also heard it right that when in use of multimode in can be utilized in a Local Area Network Connection while when in use of single mode it can be use in long distance. Other activities of the company includes Sampling, quartizing and coding.

What I liked…
What I like most in this company is that they never fall out of love with what they do. I can somehow feel they are enjoying things that they are doing. They never fall out of interest to what they do, (aside from the fact that they work and earning from this company), but also they are passionate and devoted to their work. As the instructor from the company gave us a short lecture, I can see it in him our electronics teacher.  They are both aged but is still energetic and vibrant when it talks about wires, fiber optics and the like.

 What I didn’t like…
It’s just like the vicinity is that conducive for us and honestly most of us did could not listen very well to the lecture.

Day 2-National Seminar

USeP-UP IT Symposium 2010
October 5, 2010
NISMED Auditorium
UPITTC

I thought we would never have it. I thought we would never learn from it. I thought we would never experience it. That’s what I’ve thought and I was totally wrong. We went to the place and they brought us the event. The transaction is deal so we had the mini Y4IT exclusive for both USeP’s Information technology and Computer Science students.

We were oriented to have our national seminar at the University of the Philippines campus. From the past experiences that I had, when it talks about seminars and workshop it generally talks about boring stuff and somewhat like a sleeping pill that makes every participant fall asleep. I thought that as we arrive there we would just sit and start listening until we loose close our eyes. Shocked as I was, the things that are seem bound to happen in every seminar got forfeited and by this time I personally experience an exactly different thing. The moment we arrive there, we were handed by a kit filled with lots of notes and books good for our seminar. Just like a tool for us to read to help and guide us. Again, shocked as I was, as I scan those notes I’ve got to discover that it is a “remains” from the previous Y4IT.

I am really glad having those stuff because at least even though we’re not in that exact event, its not been too late for us to experience the same good thing. I know that from the very start, everything could be possible with GOD guiding our mentor Dr. RSG.

From the arrival, the kit, until setting ourselves to the auditorium, everything is just well prepared and satisfying. It only proves the positive attitude of doing the best in everything may it be in the field or to any kind of task handed to any individual. See, from the very first quarter alone there is really no regrets of sending myself to this field trip and seminars. As for personal testimony, the moment that I let myself be settled, I was actually looking for the UP IT/CS students. They were not around. Just as I remember that there would be an unconference between the two state universities. It’s not that I am urging then nor I am worrying for the dignity of our school. It’s just that I wanted to see the kind of student living in a premier and standard university like UP. We already had a hard time in USeP that’s why we had this haggard looks. I wonder of what they could haveJ. (duh?)

After a few moments, the battle begins and our eager minds are widely open for a new package of knowledge. Quoted with a line “Y4IT Energy” our emcee energized us the same thing as they did during the first convention. Now, it is our time to privately know and enhanced ourselves with the aid of the topics to be discussed and generally with the kind of attitude that we should have as we continue our voyage in the field of IT industry.

As convenient as we are, the seminar started. We had the first session in the name of Miss. Rose Ann Sale. She had a short discussion to us regarding on Writing a Winning Thesis. Since we are all third year and sooner we are to have our thesis. It is indeed an advantage to us to have a lecture like this for us to effectively write and pursue our chosen topic in our own thesis. From the session she handed us the five stages in making a successful thesis. These stages include the thinking stage ,proposal stage, burning your eyebrow stage, the nerve wracking stage and lastly the I did it stage. Applying all of these tips and stages she let us view the final product of her own thesis. We really had a fun learning out of her specially that she’s not boring in giving discussion. She bade us farewell ending with the quote “Bright ideas made brilliant”.

Visualizing Wikipedia Article Evolution with Stream Graphs. This was our second session with Mr. John Boaz Lee. Now, let us start it by segmenting the topic. If we are to talk to what is visualization, it talks on how we capture data. He quoted, “The problem is not on the availability of data, but it is understanding the data”. As neophytes, it is an efficient tool to research, find data and play with it a little. Internet access is indeed an advantage already for advancement. Second is through answering with a question, what comprises good data visualization. As brilliant as he is, he point out these three important factors. One is to keep data as few dimensions as possible. Second is to use color to your advantage and the third one is to use symbol and graphs. After sometime as each of the student raise question, we got it to a point of talking on the maintenance of Wikipedia and he gave as a very meaning full passage that goes like this, Wikipedia article are like biological system, they evolve. They change and is developed.”

A faculty of Computer Science Department- UP Diliman Campus, Miss. Michelle Lee Moscatel shared her knowledge about Design and Implementation of Cloud based Personal Learning Environment. As we go along our discussion, PLE is mentioned for several times already. What is PLE? It is basically a personalized learning plus technology. Through the PLE, it innovates ideas and involves creation and communication. It also makes use of portfolio instead of grades depending on the learning as well as in making use of the internet through web based applications. The session also talks about UPITTC which advocates of continuous education helping each student build a solid IT career. They also conduct training programs such as Applications development, Network and Embedded Systems.

“Forget About the grades!” she exclaimed and suddenly all of us yell and clap for joy. Then afterwards, there was a complete silence the moment she continues her topic. Who would never want to listen to a very interesting topic like Animation? She gave it to us crunchy and was just perfectly great for a young technological artist like us. She made us crave for all of those designs that she had been producing and some that she is still working. Also, she had given as some tips on how to animate a word or objects. I was actually interested to the topic, its just that my artistic way is of the other path. She said that it is of good foundation if the animator himself is good at hand stroke. But on the other side of the story,  she said that its all about the quality after all, its all about marketability and its all about gearing yourself towards that dream job! That was so amazing. Its just sad since we already had her on a short span of time. But anyway, a big thanks to Miss. Len De Gracia.

From among of all the line up, it is only on the topic of Mobile Device Game Development that we had our first foreigner speaker in the person of Prof. Carlos Bott. From his topic, he discussed about games and he definitely gave us techniques in game development and it includes the following:
§  Gaming platforms
§  Online
§  Software
§  Flash
§  Web based programming

He generally talks about software tools as frameworks and even shares some of it which offers free game development framework for 2D games. For what I have been stated is just a sample from all of his discussion.

The seminar is almost over. But Ferdinand B. Pitagan, PHD provide us a talk regarding in Empowering the Nation through Educational Technology. From the topic, it clearly says the power of technology in helping the advancement strategy in educating others. When we talk about technology, it does not only talk about the computers and mobiles but more preferably in information and communication, online whether it is web based and assistive. Dr. Pitagan , shared to us that through empowerment, it could help in increasing of the spiritual, political, social and economic strength of individual and community thus saying that technology is really vital in achieving this empowerment in every life’s category. That is why some of the recommendations nowadays the inclusion of educational technology subject or courses in basic and higher education but it must be cost effective and efficient policy and implementation. In this way, there would be an early learning for each individual not making it hard for his own self as he or she step up for a new and higher form of technology.

Even though we had just spent half day sitting and listening to different topic, with different speaker of different attitude, it seems like our brains are about to burst that it can’t no longer take hold of it. Everything in the seminar are all jam-packed and something that is worth of the attention.
Aside from all of the technological learning’s that I’ve got, our speakers keep on inspiring me and never fail to lift me up. I just don’t know but all of them are so inspiring especially the ladies. It let me think and imagine that someday, in so many ways, I could also be like them, that all of us could be like them. Such an inspiring people like them should continue to inspire others and continue to speak and share the knowledge they had given by our Almighty. I now that it will for God’s greater glory.

Day 2-FTS

Day 2
Company Visit/s:
                                IBM Philippines and SeaChange
 Today, I went to…
Jam-packed and fully energized, our group head our way to IBM Philippines located at Ayala Techno Hub, Commonwealth Quezon City. It’s been a while then since I got to encounter this said company. It is from our past movie review on Pirates of the Silicon Valley that I’ve got to meet and know something about its existence. I can see that of what things that I have observed regarding on that documented film is most likely similar to what I had personally view. It is the same company so to say that it is of the same critical thing. A large and a wide group like that of IBM basically need a security of course for its own competitive purposes. I am able to comment it like this since I can feel and see how cautious they were during out view there. But, even because of this I believe that we are all handed well and is feed with lots of ideas regarding on their common activities and of how they were able to handle things like that specifically the connection of networks and flow of data. The following statements below hopes to site some of my learning’s.
 What I learned…
Well I guess that every company has to follow its own plan so to meet their decide goals and missions and IBM Philippines is positively one of those.  Such a corporation like this has a complete portfolio for their offerings and functionalities. This includes hardware, software and services. Also as a firm group they as well has major markets served which consist of the government, Financial Banking, Retails and Distribution, and the last thing is the manufacturing. Over the years, IBM Philippines has expanded and made the Philippines a growing industry. I believe that they had not just see things as static as it could be thinking only for the good of the company. In fact they had set three agenda. First of which is to be a National Asset. Next is to be an Innovation Leader followed by to be an Employer Choice.
What I liked …
I liked it when one of the IBM personnel offered as to use that testing/training room of them. It is so overwhelming that they too provide rooms for students like us and that they open doors for us to be creatively wild and explore the world of Information Technology.
 What I didn’t like…
There is no technical stuff that are to be discussed in this segment. I like all the things they have been introducing to us. Its just that the tour on this company was just too short  L. I’m craving for more!
Today I went to…

We still make it. Same place, same intensity! From the first company that we had, our group then jumped and got to mingle with the SeaChange people that are also from the techno hub. Actually it is my first time to hear the company’s name as well as the kind of services that they have. As we go through the orientation the foreigner guy let us to view a short video introducing the group and the only thing penetrates me is of course that same thing that keeps on flashing. The thing is VOD- Video on Demand. I hope I learn something about it since I am to expose it on my learning’s.

What I learned…
VOD. IPTV.  Advertising.  Content.  Broadcast. Global. These were all the same words that flashes from that short video they had prepared us compared to the things they had been introducing to us and to be honest, these were all new to me. Those aforementioned words stated above are just some of the services offered by SeaChange. This means that they empower broadband services and provides to mange, monetize and deliver a video content to any screen. It creates me a feeling of great astonishment knowing that they are leading as a provider in Ad insertions solutions. Aside from that, they also deliver core production and end to end transmission of broadcast solutions for flexible operator innovation, operational deficiency and investment protection. To sum it up, SeaChange offers a lot with regards to intelligent video solutions both advertising and broadcast solutions and lastly the mobile solutions.

What I like…
This is another thing that is for real, I really like that so called project of them named “Gemini”. I like thus product because it enable the user to pause, forward or even stop a video and take note that it includes several type of videos that it even include live streaming. I just don’t know how they were able to make it but one thing is for sure, they use java form of development. While they a demonstration on it,  I just keep on smiling. It’s the best! Aside from their products and the company, one more thing that I like most of them is their attitude towards what they do. I could feel it somehow that they are really having fun with what they do that even when we were around they were just keep on laughing. It seems like they are not burning their brains just to finish the project.
What I didn’t like…
I can’t find any. Everything I techno hub is just so amazing!

Day 1- FTS

Day 1
Company Visit/s:
Social Security System and SPi Global
 Today I went to…
Tagged with a line “Kabalikat sa tuwid na landas ng pagbangon ng Pilipinas”, our batch had a wonderful company visit to Social Security System. Right after our plane landed on Manila we had a direct travel via land leading ourselves to the said company. Personally I was so overwhelmed for the kind of accommodation they did to us. To think that we are just to be oriented and know SSS a bit, we already experience one of the best treatments we had. The setting was so like a convention plus a bountiful snack J. There were a lot things being taught to us and for a moment we were all educated to what does it profit to be an SSS holder.
But since we have to incline ourselves to Information technology, we intend to enter their data center. But unfortunately we were not able to visit such a place since it is not convenient on our part for they were doing some sort of development for the center. But any there were still a lot of things taught to us aside from visiting a data center. We had visited their museum, one stop center where a lot of networked computers function to serve their clients and the SSS ID Card Production Center.

 What I learned…
To provide a quality driven and technology based system, this is the mission where the SSS grows and develop. Now, what did I learned. Let us talk computerization. Well of course all of us who were enrolled in the course Information technology is oblige to get ourselves entangle with this word. As we had out tour over the company, there were several kinds of jargons JI guess that was being mentioned on and on. These words were network/networking which is both public and private, biometrics, computer reliant, server, allocation and deallocation and firewalls.
From the mentioned words above I was again awakened by the fact that sooner or later this might be the kind of work that I would really be chasing. Something that is rally inclined to IT. More and more, SSS tour amazed me when I saw personally a biometrics “thing”. Yes, I am very much happy to see that specific machine that identifies which fingerprints is for a certain individual. It thrills me more knowing that evidences and proofs are also being subjected to them by the people in power of authority (for criminal case). Seeing that kind of thing that helps in many way keeps on amusing me.
Aside from all of those things I said, I also noticed one thing. I bet that it is not so part of learning but I had just observed that the computer units that they used is so Jurassic and old. But after knowing that even if it is so like an antic, it is still indeed of good condition and works better that others because of its processors and developments.
 What I liked…

J Again, what strikes me most during our visit in Social Security System was visiting that fingerprint matching “office”. I don’t know but it gives me excitement especially that the moment I get to enter there was the lady on that certain table was working for a match. They are meticulous on finding which prints match the other and whether that certain individual is using two accounts so they can detect it through fingerprint testing.
For me it is very interesting and I guess that it is a job where I would be happy. From this kind of activity we are able to connect biology to technology which are both branches of science. I don’t know but it thrills me. It excites me and it makes me want that job.
Other than that there were also another thing which I like and that is the SSS ID Card Production Center. The moment I enter the room and saw those big machines for card productions, it just simple paints a smile on my face knowing that this is the place where all SSS cards nationwide is being produced which includes the SSS cards of my parents. It is amazing for me because we are on that  exact places where the real thing is used for a real scenario and for a real life.

What I didn’t like…

As far as I could remember and feel there is nothing that dislikes me from the tour of SSS. Aside from the fact that we ended there so late and I guess that was around quarter to 2:00 o’clock in the afternoon and because of that we had our lunch also late as well as the next company to be visited.  Other than that there is nothing more serious.

                No flaws, just flawless. J

Today I went to…

Solutions. People. Innovations. Started at 3:20 in the afternoon we had our orientation and introduction to SPi Global founded by Alan R. Fraser. As a premier provider of content outsourcing services and solutions SPi has landed to a discipline of commitment, enduring performance and continuous improvement.

What I learned…
SPi is comparable to Sutherland. They both do the same thing as a Business Process Outsourcing. As a multi sourcing company this said company is competitive in ICT and in BPO industry. Well as competitive as they were, SPi also maintains a corporate solutions development group which utilizes waterfall as a system’s development life cycle. For some of my colleagues in the trip they can communicate it well to the speaker since the matter talks about System Analysis and Design. Going back to waterfall, I learned that using this kind of life cycle is suitable to a small medium database application.
As we go through on tour, there were again similar and related terms that were being discussed and this includes internet links, network links and system administrators. Knowing and being aware that we are in this kind of business needs knowledge and learning of d how does if goes and of what are its specifics to be able to maintain and always be on track.

What I liked..

Well honestly, to kind to technology that they have, there is nothing unique. Thus I can say that everything was just okay and smoothly flowing. But even if it went well and nothing is making a flaw, it does not impress me and nothing has attracted me to like it.

Everything is just simple. Nothing more and nothing less.

What I didn’t like…
                The simplicity I guess…

 Fieldtrip Overview
Cool, amazing and sophisticated! These are the three magic words that complete our five day educational tour held last October 4-8 of the current year. It was a week full of nuts that were being harvested and gathered. Thus, we can equate it to the fact that we too, as a student who participated the tour have also the responsibility of burning these nuts and have a good sold for ourselves.
Well, if we are just to ask for a good sold there is no question about it after all. Our trip was fully loaded and packed with a so meatier and juicy activity. No wonder why we had paid the amount in which we had spent. Aside from the company visits, we really had fun with our side trips although limited with a limited allotted time. For once, I tried how it feels to be like in “divisoria” and in some other malls which I only hear in television for advertisement or endorsement.

Such a trip teaches me so much. Aside from the things which I experience and from which I see it somehow affect and touches my personality. It is now very clear to me the advancement of the central area compared to ours. Other than that, people that is already residing in our chosen industry (those who are already in the field) are really magnificent and fantastic. I could not imagine my self like that of them. Another thing talks about the student in the University of the Philippines. We are both sending ourselves to a state university. Shall we say that we are all Iskolar ng Bayan but I guess that they had projected it well and justified the name scholar.

Now let me hang you up with a thought wondering of what the central area has that over powers the lower area specifically Davao or even asking to ourselves of why and how does the student in UP protects more the name of being a/an Iskolar ng Bayan. We would all see and be answering these questions by reminiscing again the precious things that had happened.
